Went there after a hard day's mountain biking at Grizedale and it was just perfect. The service was friendly and efficient. The batter on the fish was delicious and the chips were perfection! Highly recommend.

So we decided to dine in tonight, Our waiter was an older gent called rob or ron couldn’t quite catch it. Absolutely hilarious with a fantastic humour. It’s good to see they employ elderly waiting on staff to entertain the customers. Very friendly and warm, with stories of the good old days including the war and Vietnam! Food was 10/10 with the best gf curry sauce around! The manageress was harassed with a large que but never faltered with her customer services. The young handsome lad on the fryer was doing a grand job too! Fresh cooked fish and gorgeous chip!
Delicious fish and chips, generous portions and friendly staff. Food was cooked to perfection and staff were always attentive and the generous sauces they give you were a welcome addition. I had to give them a 5 star review for going above and beyond to offer an unforgettable experience. Customer experience is a dying tradition in UK but this chippy nailed it!

Called in the evening and enjoyed fish and chips, friendly staff advised on gluten free options of which battered jumbo sausage and gravy were delicious. If you're staying in Grange over Sands or passing through to the Lake District, definitely worth stopping by for food. Highly recommended.
Just been for our tea,i had fish and chips and my wife had mixed kebab meat with chips and salad. Food was served promply and both meals were freshly prepared,tasty,huge portions and excellent value for money. The staff were very friendly especially the gentlemen who took our order and brought us our meals. Can't recommend the place highly enough and when we are back in the area we will call in again !!!!!!!!
Brilliant,absolutely lovely place it's just a shame I'm not closer and only visited while on a short holiday. The gluten free menu was why we visited as I have to be careful but practically everything is gluten free from the sausages to the pizzas,plenty of options if you're in need of a takeaway while needing to ensure it's gluten free.
